About West London Immigration Services

Regulated immigration advice and application assistance, explained in plain English.

Established in 2013, we help clients in the UK and overseas with straightforward immigration applications within our IAA Level 1 authorisation.

Who we are

West London Immigration Services Limited (company number 08627315) is a UK immigration advice practice. We help individuals, families and employers with immigration applications. Although the business name reflects its West London roots, we work with clients across the UK and overseas through remote appointments. We are based in Durham.

Our IAA regulation

We are authorised and regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA), registration number F201400882. Our authorisation is Level 1 (Advice and Assistance) — Immigration. Our details, and the complaints procedure, are on the regulation page and on the regulator's public register.

What Level 1 means

IAA Level 1 is "Advice and Assistance". It covers straightforward applications made within the Immigration Rules, where the facts meet the qualifying criteria and there is no immigration history likely to cause a problem. That includes applications for entry clearance and permission to stay, visit, family, work, study and settlement applications, EU Settlement Scheme applications, basic British citizenship applications and sponsor licence applications.

Level 1 does not cover administrative review, appeals, tribunal work, bail, human-rights or discretionary applications, or cases involving overstaying, illegal entry, removal or deportation.

How we work

  • We check at the start whether your matter is straightforward and within our authorisation.
  • We confirm the scope of the work and the professional fee in a written client care letter.
  • We give clear written document lists and review what you send.
  • We prepare the application with you, and you approve the final information before it is submitted.
  • We keep a clear record of advice, documents and submissions.

Confidentiality and your documents

Your information is confidential. Please do not send passports, identity documents, bank statements or immigration papers with a first enquiry, and do not send them over social media or messaging apps. Once we have agreed to act for you, we will ask for the documents we need and tell you how to send them securely.

When we refer a matter

We provide advice and application assistance for straightforward immigration matters within our IAA Level 1 Immigration authorisation. Where a matter falls outside that authorisation — for example because it involves adverse immigration history, a discretionary or human-rights claim, an administrative review, an appeal or tribunal work — we will tell you and signpost or refer you to an adviser authorised at the appropriate level.

UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) makes the final decision on every application. No immigration adviser can guarantee that an application will be approved.

Discuss your application

Tell us what you want to apply for, the status you hold now and when your current permission ends. We will confirm whether the matter is within our Level 1 authorisation and offer a suitable appointment.

The enquiry form is on this site and reaches us directly. Please do not send identity documents until we ask for them.

Phone and WhatsApp are for availability and simple questions. They are not a channel for instant legal advice.
